Morgan joined Tompkins Wake in 2018 and is a senior associate in our dispute resolution and litigation team.
Morgan has considerable experience in building and construction litigation. She acts for councils, homeowners, builders, and product manufacturers to avoid and resolve disputes related to building defects and under-construction contracts (from single homes to major complex projects). Morgan also regularly advises on building, construction and natural hazard management, including issues arising under the Building Act.
In addition, Morgan also has broad experience in handling general contract, commercial and property disputes (including caveats, leases and sale orders). She represents clients in the courts and in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation. Her experience covers everything from disputes between individuals and SMEs to complex commercial disputes covering proceedings across multiple jurisdictions. Morgan tailors the approach she takes to her clients’ needs and objectives.
