Sam is a Senior Associate in Tompkins Wake's Commercial team. She advises private and public sector clients on a broad range of commercial matters, with particular expertise in energy, infrastructure, construction and major projects. Her experience spans commercial contracting, procurement, corporate advisory matters, project development, strategic commercial arrangements, business acquisitions and disposals, and shareholder arrangements.

Sam works with organisations on projects and commercial arrangements involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and commercial, contractual and regulatory considerations. She advises across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage strategy, procurement and contract structuring through to delivery, operation and ongoing commercial management. Her experience includes EPC and construction arrangements, consultancy agreements, operations and maintenance agreements, connection and network arrangements, power purchase agreements, technology projects and procurement frameworks.

With equal experience across both private practice and in-house environments, Sam brings a practical understanding of the legal, commercial and operational challenges faced by organisations delivering major projects and strategic initiatives. She is able to work closely with executives, project teams and technical advisers to identify risk, structure workable solutions and support informed decision-making.
