Drisana is an Associate in Tompkins Wake's specialist employment and regulatory teams. Her primary focus is employment law, where she advises on the full range of employment matters including employment agreements, workplace disputes, and personal grievances. Drisana regularly represents clients in mediations, the Employment Relations Authority and Courts, bringing a practical and solutions-focused approach to resolving employment disputes. She works frequently with large national and international businesses on their employment law needs, providing practical, clear and honest advice.

She also has significant experience in health and safety and regulatory prosecutions, as well as coronial inquiries. Within the regulatory prosecutions space, Drisana acts for both local government and private clients across a diverse range of proceedings, including matters arising under the Dog Control Act, Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, the Coroners Act 2006, and the Resource Management Act 1991.

Admitted as a lawyer in July 2018, Drisana has a strong foundation in advocacy and an ability to navigate complex and contested proceedings. Clients choose Drisana because she tells it straight. She takes a no-nonsense, pragmatic approach to legal problems and takes the time to genuinely listen to her clients, understanding them and their needs.
