Becky Brown is a Special Counsel in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team, bringing more than a decade of experience advising on complex commercial and trust-related disputes. She joined Tompkins Wake in 2015 and has been practising since 2010.

Becky specialises in general commercial dispute resolution, with particular expertise in contractual disputes, insolvency litigation, property and construction matters. She is also highly experienced in trust and estate litigation, acting on claims involving estates, trusts and trustees, including breach of trust allegations, trustee removal, applications for directions, and Family Protection Act claims.

A seasoned litigator, Becky has appeared in the Court of Appeal, High Court and District Court across a broad range of commercial and trust matters. She is valued for her strategic judgement, clear advice and calm, authoritative approach to complex and high-stakes disputes.

In addition to court proceedings, Becky regularly assists clients to resolve matters through alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, and is known for achieving pragmatic outcomes while protecting clients’ commercial and personal interests.
