Danielle is a litigation and dispute resolution specialist with extensive experience in commercial, contractual, and insurance disputes. She has particular expertise in trust and estate litigation, acting for trustees and beneficiaries on breach of trust claims, High Court applications for directions, and providing strategic advice to trustees, executors, and beneficiaries in relation to contentious trust and estate matters.

Danielle has appeared in the Supreme Court, High Court, and District Court across a wide range of commercial disputes. She regularly assists clients to resolve matters efficiently through alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation.

Prior to joining Tompkins Wake, Danielle spent over a decade at a national New Zealand law firm, where she advised on significant commercial, insurance, and trust and estate matters. Earlier in her career, she worked at a large global law firm in London and a Top 100 UK firm specialising in insolvency and commercial litigation, gaining valuable international experience in high-value and multi-party proceedings.
