Jacinda Johnston is a Special Counsel in the firm’s Commercial Property team, with significant experience advising on complex commercial property transactions. She joined Tompkins Wake in 2015 and is a trusted advisor to a broad range of commercial property clients.
Based in the Hamilton office, Jacinda supports clients nationwide and plays a key role in connecting the firm’s commercial property capability across Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty. She advises developers, investors and owner-occupiers on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, including due diligence, financing arrangements and leasing.
Jacinda is known for her practical, commercially focused advice and her ability to manage large, multi-party transactions with clarity and efficiency. She has extensive experience working with Māori trusts on property transactions, including advising on appropriate ownership and investment structures to protect and preserve trust interests.
A senior practitioner within our Commercial Property team, Jacinda is known for her collaborative approach, strong client relationships, and depth of sector knowledge.
