Laura Fisher is a Special Counsel in the firm’s Family Law team and a senior practitioner specialising in relationship property and trust law. She is recognised for her technical expertise, sound judgement and empathetic approach with our Family Law clients.
Laura advises on complex relationship property disputes, claims against estates and trusts, and trust-related litigation. She regularly acts on contracting out agreements and applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act, including the appointment of property managers and welfare guardians.
Known for her measured, client-focused approach, Laura combines strong legal analysis with empathy and discretion, particularly in matters involving family dynamics and sensitive personal circumstances. She is also a trusted mentor within the team and actively supports the development of our junior practitioners.
Laura works across the firm’s Hamilton and Rotorua offices and is a valued contributor to the firm’s regional family and trust law capability.
